Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures and treatments
- Prepare patients and examination rooms for treatments
- Take dental X-rays and develop radiographs accurately
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control measures
- Perform chairside assistance and four-handed dentistry
- Update patient records and maintain digital documentation
- Order supplies and manage inventory efficiently
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography and imaging software
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume practice
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends
