Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays with precision
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilize instruments
- Manage patient scheduling and recall systems efficiently
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for seamless workflow
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and aftercare
- Assist with digital charting and practice management software
Qualifications
- Active Indiana Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) and infection control
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient interactions
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
