Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures and routine checkups
- Perform sterilization and instrument preparation protocols
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene techniques
- Coordinate treatment plans and insurance verifications
- Maintain a sterile, organized operatory environment
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and OSHA regulations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- CPR certification required
