Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Prepare and serve meals according to patient dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Communicate patient concerns and changes in condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care documentation in electronic health records.
- Ensure a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CNA Certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for facility transport.
