Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our growing team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for our residents and patients.
Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Signs: Accurately monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assistance: Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and ensure patient safety.
- Communication: Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Maintain patient hygiene and ensure the patient's room is clean, organized, and comfortable.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts as required by facility policy.
- Emergency Response: Respond immediately to patient needs and emergency situations following established protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; CNA certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
- Licensure: Current California CNA license (if applying for CNA role) or eligibility for nursing program enrollment.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience: No prior experience required for entry-level roles; on-the-job training provided.
- Skills: Strong compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Background: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
