Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient behavior, and medical conditions
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation within the facility
- Support meal services and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Virginia CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in a healthcare setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal skills and compassion for elderly patients
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
