Responsibilities
- Delicate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Meal preparation and feeding support for clients with dietary restrictions
- Medication reminders and vital sign monitoring per care plans
- Light housekeeping and errand management (grocery shopping, prescriptions)
- Transportation to medical appointments and social activities
- Companionship and emotional support for isolated seniors
- Accurate documentation of care activities and client observations
- Collaboration with RNs and care coordinators for holistic support
Qualifications
- State-certified Home Health Aide or CNA license required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Nevada driver's license and insured vehicle
- Ability to pass rigorous background and drug screening
- Fluency in English; bilingual Spanish speakers highly valued
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform transfers
- Empathetic communication skills with dementia training preferred
