Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping to ensure a safe living environment.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the supervising nurse.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation or recreational activities.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or grocery shopping.
- Administer medication reminders and document daily care logs accurately.
- Assist with mobility issues, including transferring patients from bed to chair or wheelchair.
Qualifications
- Current Texas Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or CNA license.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine, compassionate demeanor.
- Physical ability to lift, stand, and move for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
