Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital sign checks, EKGs, and patient preparation
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Schedule appointments and maintain organized patient flow
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
- Coordinate with nursing staff for seamless patient care delivery
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital or urgent care setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
