Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests
- Manage patient records and maintain electronic health documentation
- Administer injections and medications as prescribed
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Ensure clinic compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active MA certification or graduate from accredited MA program
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-volume environment
