- Lab Work: Perform basic laboratory tests, draw blood samples, and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Infection Control: Adhere to strict sterilization protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for both staff and patients.
- Communication: Clearly communicate test results and treatment plans to patients and families.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and restock medical supplies and equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification is required.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Computer Proficiency: Ability to navigate Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems with ease.
