Responsibilities
- Greet and Register Patients: Provide a welcoming environment and complete intake forms accurately.
- Clinical Assistance: Assist providers with patient exams, prepare treatment rooms, and sterilize equipment.
- Vital Signs & Phlebotomy: Accurately measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and blood draws.
- Administrative Support: Manage medical records, schedule appointments, and handle insurance verification.
- Patient Education: Provide clear instructions to patients regarding medications and follow-up care.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA) or equivalent.
- Licensure: BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a clinical or medical office setting is a plus.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Technology: Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required.
