Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, measurements, and intake screenings accurately.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain accurate patient documentation.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and follow-up care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Strong proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule.
- San Diego residency preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus.
