Job Summary
As a Medical Assistant, you will be the face of our clinic, ensuring a smooth patient experience from check-in to check-out. You will work closely with nurses and physicians to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vitals monitoring (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, O2 saturation) with high accuracy.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Draw blood samples (phlebotomy) and process laboratory specimens.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation.
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and ensure the exam rooms are sanitized and stocked.
- Handle patient inquiries professionally and de-escalate situations calmly.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or MA) is required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during the night shift.
