Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, including vitals, weight, and height measurements.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures with precision and care.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments according to strict hygiene standards.
- Administer medications and perform basic laboratory tests, including phlebotomy.
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding medications, diet, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with the nursing and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required (Associate’s degree in Medical Assisting preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and families.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with scheduling software.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (we will assist with certification if needed).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clinic locations.
