In this part-time role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring their visit is smooth, comfortable, and efficient. You will work closely with our physicians and nursing staff to support clinical operations and maintain high standards of patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments and equipment prior to patient visits.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature, accurately and efficiently.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
- Manage patient intake, including updating medical histories, verifying insurance information, and checking patients in/out.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider, strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain and update patient charts in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and referrals to specialists.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Associate degree in Medical Assisting (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required for high-potential candidates.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy medical office environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems.
