Responsibilities
- Manage patient intake, scheduling, and registration with precision
- Verify insurance coverage and collect copays accurately
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient flow
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance for all patient records
- Handle multi-line phone systems and triage urgent calls
- Process medical forms and maintain digital filing systems
- Assist with basic billing inquiries and payment processing
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year medical reception or front desk experience
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance protocols
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- High school diploma or equivalent (certification preferred)
- Basic knowledge of billing/coding (CPT/ICD-10) a plus
