Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and their families during night shifts.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the RN or physician.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients at all times.
- Document patient care activities and shift notes in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the state of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
