Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient intake assessments and preliminary screenings
- Assist providers with telehealth patient encounters and documentation
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain accurate patient files
- Coordinate patient care plans and referrals between providers
- Prepare and process lab orders and medical supplies remotely
- Provide patient education on medications and treatment protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and data security protocols
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work independently
- Valid Arizona MA license and BLS certification
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home workspace
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
