Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and third-party billing
- Assist in preparing sterile compounds and IV medications
- Maintain precise medication records and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license
- 1+ years of pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Background check and drug screen required
