Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering for optimal stock levels
- Process insurance claims and maintain precise patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Assist in compounding specialized medications and sterile preparations
- Ensure strict compliance with FDA and DEA regulations
- Collaborate with pharmacy team to maintain efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification in Oklahoma (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Minimum 1 year of hospital or retail pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy software and medication systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Valid Oklahoma state pharmacy technician license
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
