Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Process insurance claims and manage patient billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate pharmacy inventory and ordering systems
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for seamless patient care
- Operate automated dispensing equipment and pharmacy software
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Prior pharmacy experience preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
