Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Process insurance claims and manage inventory with precision
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software
- Assist with vaccination administration and health screenings
- Collaborate with clinical team for patient medication counseling
Qualifications
- Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license required
- 1+ years of retail/hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of prescription drugs and medical terminology
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume setting
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy software
- Background check and drug screen required
