Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Process insurance claims and manage inventory using advanced pharmacy software
- Administer vaccinations and perform health screenings (with certification)
- Counsel patients on medication usage and OTC product selections
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and regulatory documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for medication therapy management
- Mentor new technicians and optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Minimum 1 year retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
- Exceptional attention to detail and math accuracy
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to stand 8+ hours and lift 25 lbs regularly
