Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws efficiently and accurately.
- Verify patient identification and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Assist physicians and nurses with various clinical procedures as needed.
- Manage patient relations, answering questions and ensuring a comfortable experience.
- Organize and maintain accurate patient records and lab documentation.
Qualifications
- Current Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent.
- CPR/BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume medical environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
