Responsibilities
- Conduct remote patient assessments and triage calls with a high level of clinical accuracy.
- Document patient symptoms, medical histories, and treatment plans accurately in the EMR system.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators via secure telehealth platforms.
- Educate patients on preventative care, medication management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Monitor patient outcomes and escalate urgent medical issues to appropriate providers immediately.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and state nursing board requirements.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington DC.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred, ADN accepted).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) software.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients remotely.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while adhering to strict protocols.
