Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to diverse patient populations in acute care settings
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR systems
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and self-care management
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and institutional policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in a hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (Epic experience a plus)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
