Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or licensed healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, documenting all observations accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and discharge instructions.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of patient care areas at all times.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting (New graduates encouraged to apply).
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
