Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems, needs, and recovery progress.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes to the charge nurse or physician immediately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond to emergency situations and assist in code blue or trauma responses as needed.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
