Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and their families during critical times.
- Document patient history, treatments, and responses accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Current RN license or enrollment in an accredited nursing program (Graduate Nurse program considered).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
