Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care: Deliver compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients, administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Vital Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient health, including vital signs and symptom changes, and report significant findings to the healthcare team.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date medical records and patient charts in strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols.
- Emergency Response: Respond immediately to medical emergencies and assist in stabilizing patients during critical situations.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work effectively with doctors, therapists, and other staff members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease management, post-procedure care, and health promotion strategies.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois (or willingness to relocate to Florida).
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact clearly with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and medical technology.
- Professionalism: Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
