Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with nursing standards and protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and document all interventions accurately.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition or medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing unit environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume medical environment.
- Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
