Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians in accordance with approved nursing procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the charge nurse or physician immediately.
- Provide direct patient care and assist with daily living activities during night shifts.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Document patient care services accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license to practice in the state of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience (night shift experience preferred).
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced emergency or critical care environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work various night shift schedules and on-call rotations.
