Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with nursing standards and protocols during night shift hours
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and vital signs accurately
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide rapid assessment and intervention
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Strong assessment skills and ability to work independently during night shifts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions and prioritize critical tasks
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHR)
