Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately to the charge nurse or provider.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure a safe and healing environment by adhering to all safety and infection control policies.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, including experience in the specialty area.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts.
- Willingness to comply with all facility policies and regulatory standards.
