Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessments, interventions, and documentation per hospital protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency care with precision and compassion
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams and communicate critical updates effectively
- Maintain patient safety through vigilant monitoring and adherence to safety protocols
- Utilize advanced EMR systems for accurate patient records and care planning
- Mentor new staff and uphold evidence-based nursing practices
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations and collaborate with on-call physicians
Qualifications
- Active IL RN license (compact license acceptable)
- BSN degree required (ADN with 2+ years ICU/ER experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications mandatory
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience (night shift preferred)
- Expertise in patient stabilization and critical care protocols
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities
