Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient progress, symptoms, and reactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and provide critical care interventions as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical facility setting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods as required by the role.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards.
