Responsibilities
- Coordinate virtual patient visits and telehealth appointments
- Perform clinical assessments and document electronic health records (EHR)
- Assist physicians with remote patient monitoring and medication reconciliation
- Manage patient scheduling and communication via secure platforms
- Prepare and process lab orders and referrals electronically
- Ensure HIPAA compliance for all digital interactions and data handling
- Provide patient education through virtual consultations
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Strong telehealth platform experience (Zoom, Doxy.me, etc.)
- Ohio state licensure or eligibility
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Exceptional communication skills for virtual patient interactions
