Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments in emergency department triage
- Prioritize patient acuity using Emergency Severity Index (ESI)
- Collaborate with physicians on critical care decisions
- Document patient encounters in EMR systems
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Provide patient/family education during triage process
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Jersey
- Minimum 2 years ER/trauma experience
- ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Experience with ESI triage protocols
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and decision-making abilities
