Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient calls based on medical urgency and acuity
- Provide clinical guidance and education to patients via telephone
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care
- Document all interactions accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Manage high-pressure situations with calm professionalism
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona (or compact state)
- 3+ years of ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends
