As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with their daily living activities in the comfort of their own homes. We are looking for individuals who are patient, reliable, and eager to provide exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to prescribed dietary plans.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Administer medication reminders and document care logs accurately.
- Transport patients to medical appointments using a reliable vehicle.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Understanding of HIPAA privacy regulations.
