Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments via phone and video to determine the appropriate level of care and urgency.
- Apply advanced clinical judgment to differentiate between urgent, emergent, and non-emergent situations.
- Facilitate appropriate referrals to primary care providers, specialists, or urgent care facilities.
- Educate patients on symptom management, treatments, and preventive health measures.
- Accurately document all triage interactions, medical histories, and care plans in EMR systems.
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure seamless patient continuity.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with a preference for experience in triage or telehealth.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (ENPC preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on empathy and clarity.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
