Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care based on urgency using evidence-based protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate rapid patient triage and disposition
- Maintain accurate electronic health records while documenting all patient encounters
- Provide compassionate patient education and support during high-stress situations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for emergency care protocols
- Act as clinical resource for patients, families, and ancillary staff
Qualifications
- Current Nevada RN license with unrestricted status
- Minimum 3 years of emergency/urgent care triage experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
- Strong proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills with diverse populations
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure environments
