Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments via phone and in-person to determine acuity levels.
- Document all patient interactions and triage decisions accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support during high-stress situations.
- Manage incoming calls and inquiries with efficiency and empathy.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Active RN License in the State of Texas (TX).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or triage setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
