Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize emergency cases using standardized triage protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Document clinical observations and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Administer initial treatments and stabilize patients awaiting physician consultation
- Collaborate with emergency department staff to optimize patient flow and resource allocation
- Educate patients on home care instructions and follow-up procedures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX RN)
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in high-stress environments
