Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls using standardized protocols to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Coordinate with physicians and clinical staff for critical patient cases
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients via phone, telehealth, and in-person
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient flow
- Educate patients on symptoms, home care, and when to seek emergency care
- Monitor and escalate potential mass casualty incidents or public health concerns
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona (AZBN)
- Minimum 2 years ER/urgent care or triage experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Spanish bilingual skills highly valued
