Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient status changes accurately.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team and family members regarding patient care.
- Document all care activities and observations in the electronic medical record.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Texas CNA license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required for the right candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and transfer patients of varying weights safely.
- Commitment to patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
