Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient vitals, intake assessments, and medical histories.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during procedures.
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccines as directed by providers.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and communicate lab results effectively.
- Assist with front office duties including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient registration.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certifications.
- Previous experience in a clinical or medical office setting is preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency and experience with EMR/EHR systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-first attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
