Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration under nurse supervision
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments and equipment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Serve nutritious meals and assist with dining activities
Qualifications
- Active Minnesota CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospital experience
- Flexible weekend availability (Sat/Sun shifts, 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Compassionate approach with elderly populations
