Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent bedsores.
- Prepare and serve meals while monitoring dietary restrictions and intake.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA certification in the state of Texas.
- CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
